So what happened?

Well, turns out our weather feed provider is being unreliable. This has caused everything from no weather displaying on the app, to crashes at startup. We have tried to overcome these issues, but at this point we need to switch weather feeds entirely.

So what does this mean?

1. It the very near future Apple will release our update that disables the weather. This should fix the crashing issues as we work towards integration with another weather provider.

2. A little bit after that, you should see an update available that will restore weather functionality.

We understand that this is an inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize. I assure you that we are extremely disappointed that it has come to this, but we will make every effort to correct the problem and return Wave Alarm to its fully functioning state.

In the meantime if you do not want to wait for any updates, you can disable location services for the app, and it should fix any weather/crashing issues you may be having. Keep an eye out for an update that corrects the problem in the future.

And finally… if you were a brave soul who reinstalled the application after upgrading, have no fear, you will not be charged again to upgrade. Please press the upgrade button again. Apple tracks your upgrade status, and after you enter your password, you will be prompted to re-download the upgrade. You will not be charged twice.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and will strive hard to rectify this issue as fast as we can.

We have received a number of emails stating that sometimes the app does not play a music alarm (the screen wiggles but motion detection does not work and its not audible). We have submitted an update to Apple (version 1.2.1) that fixes this issue. In the mean time, you can fix this yourself by deleting the alarm from the app, and recreating it. We apologize for the inconvenience. Hope this helps!

(We initially wanted to respect the mute settings, but enough of you have made your point clear and we get it) so version 1.2 will play an alarm audibly regardless of the mute settings!
